Terms & Conditions

Trip fares are collected when you book. Cancel more than 2 hours before pickup for a full refund. Cancel within 2 hours and a flat late cancellation fee applies. Drivers arrive 15–20 minutes early; if they are more than 10 minutes late, part of the provider's late fee is refunded to you.

01Who these terms cover

These Terms & Conditions apply to patients and facilities (hospitals, clinics, care homes, and similar organizations) that book non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) through MedCurb. By requesting a ride, you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself or the organization you represent.

02Payment at booking

The full trip fare is collected when you confirm and check out, based on the quote shown at request time (pickup/base fee by mobility type plus $3.50 per mile). The transportation company is paid after the trip is completed. Round-trip waiting time at your appointment is included at no extra charge. Outside regular hours, weekends, and holidays may add $25. Providing oxygen or a wheelchair may add $5 each.

03Free cancellation

You can cancel a booked trip yourself in the app until the driver is on the way to pickup. Cancelling more than 2 hours before the scheduled pickup time is free and the prepaid fare is refunded in full. Once the driver is on the way, call or text MedCurb at (501) 295-7924 to cancel.

04Late cancellation fee

If you cancel a trip within 2 hours of the scheduled pickup time, a flat $30 late cancellation fee applies, for any ride type. That amount is retained from your prepaid payment (and paid to the transportation company if one had already accepted the trip); the remaining balance of the prepaid fare is refunded.

05How the late fee is calculated

The late cancellation fee is the same flat $30 for ambulatory, wheelchair, and stretcher trips (not a percentage of the fare). Example: a trip cancelled within the late window retains $30 and refunds the rest of the prepaid fare.

06No-shows and changes

If the passenger is not ready at the scheduled pickup without a timely cancellation, MedCurb may treat the trip as a late cancellation or no-show under the same flat fee. Material changes to pickup time, addresses, or mobility needs may require a new quote and may be treated as a cancellation of the original booking.

07On-time pickup

Providers are required to arrive 15–20 minutes before the scheduled pickup time so you can leave on time for your appointment. If the driver arrives more than 10 minutes after the pickup time, you receive a $7.50 refund to your card after the trip.

08Provider acceptance & service

Booking payment reserves the trip on MedCurb. A licensed NEMT company must still accept and staff the ride. If no provider can fulfill the trip through no fault of yours, MedCurb will refund the prepaid fare in full.

09Contact

For questions about billing, refunds, cancellations, or a trip in progress, call or text MedCurb customer service at (501) 295-7924. Keep your pickup time and contact phone accurate so providers can reach you. For medical emergencies, call 911.
